Carly Fisher is a James Beard Foundation Award–nominated writer and the author of Easy Weekend Getaways in the Hudson Valley & Catskills. She's also an award-winning content strategist, partnering with brands to build storytelling that doesn’t feel like marketing.

For more than a decade, she’s written about food, cannabis, travel, and the cultural moment before the algorithm took over. Her work has appeared in GQ, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Fodor's Travel, Saveur, Wine Enthusiast, and CNN Travel — where her contribution to Family Meal earned a James Beard nomination in 2018.

She’s been an edibles columnist for Snoop Dogg’s Merry Jane, a weed astrologer for Leafly, and a contributing editor for outlets including NBC’s The Feast, Fodor’s Travel, and Hilton Club Traveler. She’s also appeared on NBC, the Travel Channel, and WBEZ, and has spoken at events including Hall of Flowers, Baruch College, the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs Conference, and the Food Writers’ Workshop.
